Default Diving into Angela's backlinks, an indipendant Case Study.

edit: Sorry for the typo: should be "independent Case Study". if a mod could edit the title and delete this comment it would be appreciated.

I have a network of sites that I am building up.

For case 1, the use of angela's backlinks for increased SERPs I will be using the following.

All of them are heavily SEO'd onsite, they will gain authority hub listings when they ultimate rank well.

All pages are already doing well, after launch and "basic" link building methods I am already on page 1-2 for my keyphrases.
30 sites in total 8->40 pages per site.

All sites are custom CSS, with a proprietary CMS.

No monitization (save for well blended 1% CTR adsense) until ranking well.

My two main sites currently get about 500 hits a day organic/referred traffic.

And I have just finished submitting my links for each of these sites to Angela's July packet. At this time I am only going to be using Angela's backlinks on these two sites, and using that exclusively for links here on out. The other sites I will continue link building "normally".

At the time of this post (and before these links have been indexed, these two sites rank #9 and #12 for my main keyphrase. They are PR2 and PR1 respectively.

I will keep this thread updated with how the sites do as these links get indexed.

Any advise, or analysis, will be highly recommended.

Forgot to include the competition stats.

For the pr2, Rank #9 site, hereby called site "a" there are (non-exact match) 232,000

For the pr1, Rank #12 site hereby called site "b" there are (non-exact mach) 1,950,000

Little over 24 hours later.

Site A is in the same position

Site B jumped to page 1, number 9 out of 2,220,000 (guess more pages match now)

Both of these are the sub pages. The main page (what is needed for double or authority hub listings) is sitting at page;
page #2, position #16 for site A
page #2, position #19 for site B

Some dancing has been going on since my last update. Back to the same rankings as yesterday.

NOTE: siteexplorer has started to show the backlinks from angela's packet already. For all of those of you who doubt that the backlinks get counted, this is not the case. In fact they have been found just a couple of days from the initial link building.

EDIT: Another point of interest. the result set for my keyphrase is currently in flux. I am ranking for site B on the front page when it shows 2.2 million competition for the keyphrase, but it will occasionally jump to 3 million +, and i fall back to position #12.

Site A is currently double listed #5 for it's keyphrase, it has been bouncing between #7 and #5 since my last update.

Site A has started getting natural links, siteexplorer is showing that people are talking about my site in various forums.

Site B is bouncing between #11 and #9 single listing.

Dugg through my email, and found Paul's backlink package for July. I will be submitting a bunch more backlinks today, i'll update after doing so.

You mentioned site explorer. Does this program cost a lot of money. It sounds like a cool tracking tool. I'm new to IM and just learning.

I have been using Angela's backlinks for competitive keywords that I was unable to get on the first page for.

After 1 or 2 weeks, I am now on the first page!

I know they work, but using them alone probably is not enough, I incorporate it within my overall SEO plan.

Step 2:
While I have been waiting for these to index, I have been working on the rest of the network.
I now have 12 more sites, which are ranking page 1-3 for their keyphrases. I plan on doing 30 of angela's backlinks for each site.

Total traffic for these sites is currently ~120/day.

thanks for the case study. yeah i guess angela backlinks are worthwhile.

if only we have an automation system to all angela's pr sites, with a just a several clicks of a button.

it's a bit time consuming though to register accounts one by one.

The best tool for monitoring backlinks is Link Diagnosis - examine your link competition

It uses data from Yahoo site explorer but does much more with it. Very quick and easy to use

My personal belief and experience...

Angela and Paul link packages, great when your site is at least three months old. Not so good on a brand new site

I would rather not see this happen, it would be abused like hell by spammers! Yes, it's more work for us this way but at least it makes it less incentive for lazy spammers to abuse it. Then it would work better for us ;o)

All of these sites I am working with are 1 week to 2 months old.

Haven't seen an issue with it yet.

Will be posting another update soon for the case study.

I'm a new member to Angela's backlinks. On my second month package. I've been watching some of the chatter here on the boards about whether or not it's worth it and I noticed some folks saying you should point the links toward a "middle man" site like GoArticles or Squidoo in the other review thread. You seem to be doing quite while using direct site links, and that gives me some hope that it will be a valuable tool to keep in my pocket. Thank you for sharing your results with us as you go along here.

Just a quick update, as I am busy launching another network.
The sites are doing well. Almost every one of them is on page 1 for their target keyphrase. Averaging 25 or so uniques a day per site.

Out of the original two sites, Site A is kicking ass. It is currenly at #3 for it's keyphrase, site B is still hovering around spots 7-10.

How many links are you posting in each sign up to the different sites, I have originally been using two. Would it be a bit much to say have an anchor text link to every page of a 10 page website?

I am doing 1 profile linking to 2 different sites. And a single of the sites from the backlink packet will only used once per site.

I normally use only 1 link 1 profile to 1 url, sometime 2, either way the result is just great..!

For each keyword I targeted, I will keep building link until it reaches first 3 position, and absolutely love Angela backlinks!

I used Angela's bakclinks for a while now for my friend Oling on her site but we both don't have much time right now os we need to get back at it. The only drawback to Angela's is the time consuming part. It takes a lot of time to fill them up one by one.

Thanks

I agree. If you use roboform, you should be able to get them done in 1 1/2 to 2 hours once you get good at quick cutting and pasting, filpping back and forth between tabs ect.

Love these results...Keep em coming....

I am a bit different then most on here I would say in that I use the info learned here to help my clients get traffic to their sites that are offline businesses. With these methods its been real rewarding.

One client went to #2 on Google after 2 or 3 weeks and only used one month of links.

Great stuff.

Interesting thanks for sharing. What is your method to get the profile links indexed? Or are you just leaving them alone?
