How to choose keyword based on CPC?

I'm still trying to learn about CPC, so I have a few questions.

When reviewing the keywords in Google keyword tool, which keywords do you choose based on CPC?

I'm wanting to create a site that will most likely start out as Adsense only, but I'm not sure how to pick my keywords based on CPC.
Is it worth using a keyword that has a CPC below $2, $1???? -
What is the lowest amount you would go for CPC?

What is the average CPC/per keyword for a site that is fairly profitable?

If you are starting out a site that is going to focus on making money from adsense, then you should focus on keywords which has high CPC. But you will have to also focus on a niche marketing product too for better results. You can use the tool in spyfu dot com which tells you the CPC for your selected keywords and domain name.
