I would highly recommend building a review-style landing page for this product, as your conversions will be almost 2x higher, compared to when direct linking.

I've been getting conversions of under 50 hops with a landing page. Have a look at the screenshot below:

When choosing the keywords, go for the most relevant stuff, such as "ipad user guide", "ipad manual", "ipad help" and similar. Keep in mind, that some long-tail keywords won't necessarily have a high search volume, but they convert the best.

June 22nd 2013 UPDATE: Currently tweaking the sales page to improve conversions for direct linking affiliates, so you should see more sales. Ideally, build a landing page, as you'll get even better results.

July 2013 RESULTS: Just wanted to update this thread with some of the latest conversion results.

I've been testing MrPadMan with direct linking for the whole month of July 2013 and below are some Clickbank stats for you:

As you can see, the conversions are around 1:70 and in total there have been 19 sales and 2 refunds. That's about 10% refund rate, but I'm sure it can be improved, so will keep working on that.

The price has been dropped from $47 to $37, as I saw better results with $37, so now your commissions will be approximately $25 as an affiliate. I've been playing around with an intro video and not sure whether I want to keep it or not, so you might see it coming and going, as I'll be testing it.

Also thinking of adding an exit script with a $10 discount, so that will capture sceptical buyers, who will be more likely to buy at a lowered price.

Hey guys, quick little update here. Affiliate sales are slowly growing and we're climbing up in the marketplace. The gravity is now just over 10, so jump on this while the competition is low

January 2014 UPDATE - Happy New Year!

Hey guys, just wanted to say happy New Year to everyone and thank for working with us!

We decided to drop the price to $37 and remove the exit script. Also we've added a new whiteboard presentation with a slightly revised voiceover. The sales page has been edited in a few places as well.

The sales are steadily coming in and the refund rate is under 10%
