Smalls and mediums businesses are one of the most active parts of the worlds economy, they employ most of the working people in developing countries, and their products and innovations keep the economy growing in a lot of places.

Social media is a great opportunity for those kind of companies, because they give them a lot of space where they can go one-on-one with big companies, you dont need an enormous badget or a big marketing team to create a nice and succesful campaign on Facebook or Twitter. Thats the magic of Digital Marketing.

This are same of the areas in which I believe Small and Medium Companies can make a huge difference:

1. Email

Eighty-eight percent of small and medium-sized businesses say that this is one of the channels with the greatest consumer retention. It also serves as a channel of personalized communication with the consumer.

2. Organic search

The presence of the company on the internet is key to make itself known, despite 36 percent of the companies indicate it. This tactic is also based on SEO elements to be one of the first options within an online search.

3. Paid Search

Spreading in the first places is not always possible, but promote the action through payment benefits to SMEs in the search that involves them. The study reveals that 43 percent of companies mention it.

4. Social media

One in 7 people have a profile on social networks, reveals eMarketer, so having an account within some page of this type generates stakeholders. The 44 percent of the respondents tie in the subject.

5. Affiliations

Being part of a company gives a boost to small and medium-sized companies, which is why 21 percent indicate it. It is worth noting that not all those in this category have sufficient resources to carry it out.

    Hi, Richard

I especially liked "The 44 percent of the respondents tie in the subject." I always love me meaninglessness of the highest order. And you, Sir, have achieved that several times in just a couple hundred words. Kudos to you, Sir!

    Ok, let me not by shy: I loved, the smalls and the mediums; I love badgets (I expect they're related to both badgers and budgets, hence: Awesome!);

I love that organic search goes with "This tactic is also based on SEO elements to be one of the first options within an online search." I love that sentence because I've never seen utter nonsense flow so effortlessly.

And what can I say about: "Spreading in the first places is not always possible?" And, then, it's mentioned by 41%! I mean, what a spinner you got there, man!

Does it know about sin versa too? Or just vice versa?

With the change and evolution of modern technologies, small and medium businesses are doing everything they can to keep up, which can be said true for the rest of human society. Brick-and-mortar businesses are either changing their business models to an online one, or beefing up existing marketing efforts with digital marketing strategies â€Â" in an attempt to capture a growing and very lucrative online marketplace.

For it is the process of attracting targeted audiences online that will spell the difference between a successfully thriving business â€Â" and a failed one. Even if you receive tons of daily traffic to your website, they would not amount to anything unless they convert to leads or sales. In the digital arena where business and commerce are heading to, Digital Marketing tools and techniques provide business owners the best chances for competition, survival and even business growth.
