When someone starts anything, be it a business or a hobby, there tends to be a lot of enthusiasm. People are excited, and it shows. But over time, that enthusiasm can wane a bit. This is natural. The difference between those who are successful and those who are not often hinges on the ability to remain committed. Try to imagine yourself in the middle of a large field. A massive circle has been drawn around you. Your goal is to reach the edge of the circle, where the line is. The circle is at least 400 feet away from you in every direction. You're right in the middle of it. Success means reaching the edge. So what's the fastest way to be successful? Start walking in one direction. If you walk 100 steps in one direction, and then backtrack to go in a different direction, you're not making any progress. Can you see the parallel to business?

Within about 100 to 150 days, those who have remained 100% committed to making their eBook publishing venture a success will more often than not see tremendous results. Those who often go back and forth and change directions will generally be right near the middle of that huge circle -- back where they started.
