Do ebooks sell? Of course. In vast numbers. Making many infopreneurs wealthy. And the good news is that it's getting bigger every day.

People are getting hooked to the Internet and eCommerce by the millions. The size of the connected world is expanding daily. And the main reason people are surfing the Web is for information.

Information is what they want, about many different things - problems, curiosities, necessities, desires and dreams. When they find ebooks offering the answer to their questions, they are ready to buy.

So, why are you still asking yourself: "Do ebooks sell?" Instead, ride the crest of this wave and start building your information empire today. Here are the easy steps to take next.

Find a Hungry Crowd

Ebooks sell because people buy them. So your first task as an infopreneur is to find the people who buy, and find out what they want to buy. This step is called 'market research'. And without doing it properly, any book writing project you take up is destined to fail, unless you are extremely lucky.

Write a Great Ebook

Once you have identified a market for your proposed book, and know what people in it want, where they are looking for solutions and what they are willing to spend finding it, you have a fair idea of what to put into your ebook.

The next step is to write a great ebook. With your research already done, this should be simple. Just look at the list of problems your audience is facing, and offer solutions to each one, one after the other, until your list is finished.

Infopreneurs think writing a best selling ebook is hard work. It is not, if you know what your audience wants to buy, and then just give it to them!

Pick a Catchy Title

You may wonder what's in a name. Well, everything. A great book that summarized classics in literature was not doing well at all, until a genius at marketing revised the title. He called it "The Great American Bathroom Book of Literature". It flew off the shelves and had to be reprinted several times.

When you walk into a bookstore, the first thing about a book that catches your attention is the title. If it's boring, you expect the book to be dull too. So spend time thinking up a title that will grab your audience, press hot buttons, excite attention.

Market it Enthusiastically

This is easy to say, difficult to do, but without an energetic marketing plan, your ebook will not sell. If you thought just writing a great book and selecting a cool title will make you rich and famous, sorry to disappoint you.

Everything else being the same, you will sell more ebooks if you are more aggressive in your marketing. What exactly you do is less important than doing it consistently, to your best ability, and measuring your results to see if it works.

Keep doing whatever works. Replace what is not working and try something else. Your aim should be to get your ebook into the hands of every qualified prospect who wants the information you are sharing.

If you do all this effectively, then you will no longer ask the question: "Do ebooks sell?" Instead, you will ask yourself: "How many more ebooks can I sell?"

And the answer is: "As many as you like!"
