How to Realistically Write a High Quality eBook in One Day Without Your Fingers Falling Off

Not that long ago I was sitting around with some friends of mine and one of them asked me the shortest amount of time it has ever taken me to write an eBook. I truthfully replied, "one day." They were stunned! Of course, they were imagining that I wrote a 500 page book of some kind, when in reality, it was a 35 page publication that remains one of my top selling eBooks. So how did I do this?
The first step was to tell myself that I wasn't going to do any editing along the way. I was just going to write and edit later. That's important. We often have a tendency to want to stop and re-read what we just finished typing and then make changes. This slows everything down and saps you of energy and confidence.
I then created a basic table of contents. This would serve as a rough outline of what I was going to write about. This isn't hard to do. Keep it very simple. As an exercise, create a table of contents that would outline the steps necessary to wash your hands and brush your teeth. I know that sounds goofy, but try it. You can break down any topic to a similar level of simplicity.
The final and most important step was to just start typing. Imagine that you're creating this eBook for your best friend who really likes you and who is relying on you to provide decent information about the topic. Always think of the person reading your eBook as being a friend who really cares about you and who is looking to you for honest guidance. We tend to think instead of the person reading our eBook as an English teacher who is out to tell us how stupid we are for making small mistakes and who will rip us to shreds for not making our "homework" good enough. It's critical that we undo this "bad" programming.
Once you have done all this, go back and re-read what you've created and clean up any stray spelling mistakes and/or obvious typos. Then you're done!
Here's the bottom line: you can write a high quality eBook in one day as long as you're organized, focused, and most important of all, in the right frame of mind.
