In Think and Grow Rich the fourth step towards riches is Specialized Knowledge.
If you are going to make money at anything you have to know about the subject, skill, service, or whatever it may be in order to succeed at it.
Let’s take Internet Marketing (IM), if you want to succeed at IM you need to know how it works, you need to be able to find or make products to sell, how to build a web page or have one build for you, how to write copy or where to get good copy written, and a lot more.
If you go the do it yourself route you will need to learn a lot more, than if you outsource most of it. If you are strapped for cash then you will need to learn a long list of information and this takes time.
In order not to keep your motivation towards your success you need to factor in the time to learn this material while you build your IM business. There are methods you can use to make money while you learn though.
You can start with affiliate marketing, writing viral eBooks from PLR products or public domain information that is out there.
After you learn enough from the free services that are out there you can move on to paid services that not only supply articles, reports, eBooks, but videos as well. Following this you can join coaching programs and attend seminars.
One of the best things you can do is join forums and read blogs. This will put you into contact with people that know and have experience in IM.
The point is that if you do not know the subject, in which you want to obtain your fortune, you will need to lean it, live it and breathe it. Only by fully understanding it will you succeed at it. This also includes knowing how to recruit others to do the tasks you don’t have time to learn.
You must make sure of the qualifications of the person from who you are learning too. Make sure they are an accepted expert in the field. Read reviews of their material, find others who have learned from this person and ask them what they think.
Most important make sure they are succeeding at what they are teaching. If they cannot make money at what they are teaching then they probably are not someone you want to learn from.
Find the area in which you want to achieve your wealth. Find others that are doing it now or have done it in the past. Read how they did it and follow their guidance. Take classes, read books and absorb as much as you can on the subject.
NEVER stop learning about your field. Grow continuously and Succeed!
