The corny headline aside (I had to get your attention didn't I) any profitable blog needs a set of profit streams. The most common are adsense ads or affiliate promotions. Having said that you can also make money from your blog by selling links. Links people pay you to place on your blog.

Adsense ads are common and reasonably easy. If you use WordPress there are about a dozen different plugins that will allow you to put Adsense Ads on your blog. You can also manually edit the PHP files to add the code, but that's not something you want to do, unless you're an advanced user.

The advantage of Adsense ads is that they are usually highly relevant to the topic of your blog. The disadvantage is that you generally don't make a lot of money from each click.

Affiliate promotions make you more money for each sale. However, you will need to manually create the ad and add it to your blog. It is definitely worth the effort, but takes a fair amount of time. There are WordPress plugins that allow you to rotate ads you have created on your blog posts, but there is no way you can guarantuee that these ads are relevant to your topic. That is, unless the overall topic of your blog is very tight.

The third profit funnel is selling links. This can be a very profitable additional income, but you will need to maintain the links manually.

What you really need is a system that automates this profit. The Blog4Cash theme by John Taylor does exactly that. It has a link broker system that allows you to maintain the links you have sold within the WordPress theme.

In addition to that it has built in systems for adding Adsense ads and affiliate promotions. At the special WSO price of just $10 (80% off) Blog4Cash could be just the thing you need!
