Through the power of your mind you have the keys to success. Every person who has been successful was first successful in their minds and the thoughts they possessed. They studied and learned what was needed, but they also learned that ANY true success requires others and their minds as well.

Power Groups are known as many things, board of directors, mastermind group, Senate, House of Representatives, or any other collection of people you can think of. Together they can accomplish far more than a single person can.

Just because there is a group doesn’t necessarily mean they will be successful, every group must have a main purpose and goals to focus their efforts. When the group becomes divided and to diverse on their goals it is time to replace members or rethink your objectives.

Group power also requires members of diverse backgrounds and knowledge that can get along. If every member thinks the same and has the same knowledge then there is no verity in the input available.

Diversity and cooperation are the key components in forming a Power Group. All members must share a common goal or purpose although each can and should have their own objectives and goals as well. The purpose of the group is for EVERY member to achieve the group goal and personal goals.

At each meeting the main goal should be discussed first, the current status, what has changed since the last meeting, any gains or losses, corrections that need to be made and brain storming; then each member should present any challenge they are having with their own goals and suggestions made by the other members on what can be done to help achieve the goal. If any member can lend a hand they should do so and not look for anything in return.

The simple act of helping a fellow member will be returned later may times over when needed. Developing a spirit of cooperation and friendship will mold and bind the group into a powerful force that will catapult each member into much more success then would be possible alone.

The formation of a Power Group should be one of the first things you do when setting up your business, or if you don’t know how, or don’t want to, set up your own group, then join one that already exists.

There are a large number of Power Groups in existence today, churches, religious groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, Knights of Columbus, Freemasons, Masonic Temple, Rotary Club, and many more.

There may have been many great leaders but NO ONE has ever done it alone. So seek help by joining a group or forming your own. Follow our Facebook link to take part in a Power Group.
