Article Marketing Tips-Sometimes Shorter Is Better

It seems that click-through rate is the one metric which will show you if your article marketing campaign is a success or failure. It is the communication between your article and the reader. If the reader finds your article interesting and helpful then they will want to learn more and click on your link to your website or your offer.

Somebody could say that there are many ways to improve the click-through rate and that may be right but mainly there is only one tip and that is the quality of your articles.

There is an actual study that shows that sorter articles around 350-400 words get better click-through rates than longer articles and there is a reason for that.

You see when people look for some information on the internet they want to find it fast they don't have the time to read long and boring articles.

You can always tell when someone writes articles just for the sake of writing them and that article is often times long and boring and doesn't give the reader anything of value. I call that article without spirit.

There is a reward for that kind of articles and that is no clicks. People will actually get mad if they read those articles simply because the author wasted their time.

If you have something of value and you want to share it with other people you don't need to waste their time but you cut to the chase and tell them what it is that you want to help them with.

And that is one of the reasons that shorter articles will get better click-through rates than longer ones. It is because that information which you are providing is compacted into smaller space. And there actually is some good and quality information in your article and you don't just full around.
