How to create information products? It is really not that hard at all if you plan ahead and execute your plan accordingly. In this article I will tell you how to create a product that will sell. Identify Your Market And Its Needs The first thing you must do is to identify a market that needs a solution to its problems. Do not try to invent a product that serves no purpose and then try to convince people to buy it because this is destined to end in failure. I know this myself from trying this strategy around five years ago myself. Pick a market and find out what people are looking for. You can do this by looking at forums in the niche and checking out some books too. If you think that you can offer a solution then you're ready to create an information product for them. There is no need to reinvent the wheel either. You don't need to create something radically different. In fact, I like to look and see what others are doing and replicate their business model (without plagiarising of course). When you create your own product, it will have its own unique features anyway and you can emphasise these later to help sell it. Product Funnel I strongly suggest list building from the start, even before you have started to create your product. Once you know your market, if you build a list then the day you launch it you can make a ton of sales instantly. Also, what kind of information product are you going to make? I suggest starting with an ebook. If you want to create video, wait till later. The reason I say this is because video has a higher perceived value so you can collect emails of your ebook customers and they will really want your more expensive videos. Later on you can even offer coaching or do seminars for $1,000 or more per customer. Outline And Create For an ebook and even for a video, you need to create a structure first. Think about the contents page of a book: it contains a breakdown of what the book is about. This is what you need to come up with. It will make the creation process much easier if you have this. If you prefer to outsource then it will also mean that your ghost writer or other outsourcer will produce exactly what you want. Too many people start from a blank canvas and end up with junk and an outline will save you from this and ensure you end up with a quality product. My name is Chris Kent. I have a handful of Clickbank products that each make me money and contribute to my overall income. If you want the same for yourself then please check out my personal, step by step e-course which describes in detail exactly how I create and sell my ebooks online.
