One Way Link Building- Part I: The basic method

I'd like to share with you my valuable method for one way link getting and the reason why this is so important . The more incoming links you have to your site, the higher the search engine rank. That is kind of the general rule, and there are more specifics to it, but in general, the more incoming links you have the higher rank you have in the search engines for your website. Now, people used to do this by getting reciprocal links by emailing the webmaster and saying "hey- you link to my site and I'll link to yours"- but now the search engines- especially Google- have begun to get wise to that. Some people say the reciprocal links still work; I think they probably work somewhat. However, the most powerful thing, I believe, and the most lasting thing is one way links. One way links are links coming into my site and I do not reciprocate; I do not give them a link back.

The basic strategy that I use involves several steps. The first is to look for websites that have a high page rank. Page rank is a little score that Google gives each website that basically says how important they think that website is. Once I find the high page rank, I want a link from that site. I email the webmaster and say, "hey- if you link to my site, I will promote your site on my newsletter list"- and my newsletter list at this point has around 8000 people on it so that's pretty attractive to most webmasters. Then, the webmaster emails me back and he says yes or no. I've had a good percentage of them say yes. I say that once they link to me they should email and let me know and I will send out a promotion and send visitors to their site. I then check the site, and once it has the link on it I email my list. That's the basic process of how I'm getting one way links.

What ends up happening is I have quite a few links coming in from high page rank sites and it can be a powerful thing. Below, I am going to show you the process of how this whole thing works step by step.
The first tool that I use is SEO quake 1.4.1. When you go to the site the version might be different but that's okay. So go to: www.seoquake.com and download the extension for Firefox.

It's going to require that you have the Firefox browser and if you don't have it you can download it here: www.mozilla.com It's a free browser and it's way better than internet explorer, but you have to have Firefox for this SEO quake to work.

Once you have installed SEOquake, there's going to be this little button in the bottom corner of your screen. That button you can toggle it so if you click on it the "X" will form and SEO quake will not be functioning. If you press it again and there is no "X" that means SEO quake will function.
So here are the basic steps:
1) Use SEO quake + Google to find Good PR sites in your niche.
2) Contact webmaster to trade a link for a newsletter promotion.
3) Repeat.

This is a great way to get one way links. I've found the best way to do it is to outsource it off shore where you can get this task done for pretty cheap and it's pretty repetitive. So, hop to it!

One Way Link Building- Part II: Watching the process

Start of your search at www.google.com making sure your SEO quake icon active. Let's do a search for "legal help". Do a google search for "legal help". Next, you'll want to click on the request parameters button.

I usually sort by page rank. I look for sites that have the target phrase "legal help" in the title phrase. So I search through for high page rank pages with the term in the title.

You want to try to find out if it is an individual who manages the site, sometimes large companies can be hard to work with or you're less likely to get a response. I search for page ranks sites looking for a good option. Here is a good example:

It is good because it is a .org site which probably means it is a smaller organization versus a large corporation. So, check out the site. What I would try to do is email the webmaster and try to get a link right on the front page in the target phrase text. Here is an example:

Mention that you would like to promote their site in your newsletter. If they wanted to maintain a low profile, you could offer to have your link down in a different section. This wouldn't impact the visitors to the site at all, but would be a great link to you. As you can see, this is a page rank (PR) of 5 which is a high rank. They might be open to do the link in exchange for a newsletter promotion.

It's good to try to get a link in a paragraph. Google loves that and it's more natural- which is great. Tell them you'll do a newsletter for them. You might be thinking that this is going to take a long time, but you're going to have better results- links from high page rank sites which are quality links. You're going to do a lot better than doing any kind of a spammy methods out there that are only going to work for a month or two and then they're going to disappear.
