One of the most powerful strategies for marketing online nowadays is definitely video marketing. Although not everyone enjoys videos for learning, many people out there get most of their learning done through videos. It's also not a coincidence that YouTube is one of the most popular sites on the planet. With so much traffic, it's certainly a good idea to get your videos out there in front of the many eyeballs on such sites.

Here is the 5-step system I have perfected to an art for getting tons of free traffic from video marketing:

Step 1: Do Keyword Research For Your Video

First things first, you need to do keyword research for your video. It is very similar to doing the same for any article you write for article marketing purposes. Basically, the keyword you choose has to relatively low competition in Google (below 50,000 results when you search for the word or phrase in quotes) and a relatively high number of searches per month (at least 1000 searches per month on AdWords Keyword Tool).

Step 2: Use An Article-To-Video Creation Software

Using an article video creation software like Article Video Robot or Article To SWF is an easy way of turning an article into a video in just a few clicks. What these software do is take your article and transform it into a ready-to-go video with headings, sub-headlines, a background etc. It's very easy for getting a video created.

Alternatively, you can create a screen capture video using Camtasia or film yourself talking using a camera.

Step 3: Optimize Your Video

With videos, you'll want to optimize them so that they will gain high rankings on the search engines. You can do this by including your main keyword phrase in the Title, Description and Tags of the video.

Step 4: Submit Your Video

Now is the time to submit your work. You can use the software I have mentioned above to do the submission (although Article To SWF doesn't do that) or you can use a service like Traffic Geyser which will submit your video to dozens of video sites.

Step 5: Post Video Responses

At YouTube, you can post video responses at high-traffic videos to divert some of the traffic to your own. This is an easy and effortless way to increase your views and traffic.
