Are you planning to make a large income online? Then building a list is definitely one of the most vital things you can do to reach your target. Why do I say that? If you send your visitors to a direct sales page, chances are most of them won't buy on the first time of asking. If your conversion rate is 10% (considered above average), that means 90 people out of 100 are not buying. If you don't capture their contact details, most probably you'd have lost the majority of them forever.

To maximize your income, you'd want to build a list of subscribers. Make your squeeze page the first point of entry in your business. A squeeze page is simply a web page with the sole aim of getting subscribers. It has a headline, a few bullets and an opt-in form and that's it. Once you get subscribers, you need to build a relationship with them, find out what they are looking for through surveys, and then send them product recommendations like affiliate products or create your own products.

My lists are one of the main reasons for my success. With a list, I can not only sell products, I can gain market insights through surveys, initiate joint ventures, recruit affiliates, build name recognition, win affiliate contests, find out what my key customers want etc.

I started building my list in 2006. With list building, it's all about momentum. Early on, you may only get 2 or 3 subscribers per day. But over time, if you persist regularly on doing activities that grow your list, you will be soon be at a level of getting 200-500 subscribers or even more per day.
