One of the key reasons why people fail to create a successful home business is because there are a lot of distractions out there. Think about it. The world is getting more and more 'cluttered'. There are more things to do, that we can't find enough time to fit them at all into the 24 hours per day that we have. Organization and discipline has become more crucial than ever. If you want to succeed with your business, you need to unclutter it so you can be happier and wealthier.

First things first, you know there are only 24 hours a day and there are only so many things you can do. If you really want to make a run for it and succeed, you need to make sacrifices. Yes, it sounds painful, but it really isn't. Just tell yourself - which is more important, creating an income that you can be proud of, or wasting hours on end on the idiot box? I think the answer is clear.

So how do you become organized? The way I do it is the traditional way - I create a to-do list. Your to-do list can be simple or as complicated as you want it to be - but you have to work from a list or schedule, if not you'll get nowhere.

Once you have your daily list, you need discipline to follow it through. Sure, there will be times where you still get distracted or something important crops up, but in times of temptation to stray, you will want to discipline yourself to stay focused. Some people find it easier to do than others. The answer is to build up your 'mental fitness'; train yourself to be disciplined to follow your schedule.

Believe it or not, you will be happier and wealthier than most people, if you stay focused.
