Internet Marketing Secrets - Lost Pricing Secrets For Making Sales on Command!
- ARTICLES |
Many marketers argue against selling your products at low prices because they think it constitutes a lot more work. And in some ways that is true. If you want to make $10,000 per month and you're doing it with a $10 product, well let's just say it's very hard to do! However, if you do it with a $10 product that has a $50 up-sell on the backend, then it is certainly very possible to make 5 figures per month.
With a low-price product, naturally you are going to convert better than something that sells at a 10 times higher price. But of course, you need lesser sales for the high-ticket product to reach your goals.
Pricing also depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to build a core customer list, then it is probably better to do it with a low-price product so you can get in as many people as possible who have a penchant for spending online. Then you can up-sell to them your more expensive and advanced products. In this way, you get the advantages of both selling a low-price item and a high-ticket item on the back-end that will fatten up your revenue.
So as you can see, pricing is not simple as it is. Just so you know, I'm a big fan of the low-ticket front-end, high-ticket back-end sales funnel. That allows you to build a big customer list and make high-priced sales as well.
