One of the reasons why some people generate an income of $10,000 per month while others struggle to get by with only $1,000 per month is because of productivity. Productivity is not linked to hard work. If it was, laborers would be some of the richest people in the world! So what IS productivity? In the context of a marketer or entrepreneur, it is doing things that generate the most profits while serving the most people.

Why does a famous sports man earn millions every year while a doctor 'only' earns 5-figures per month? It is because of the number of people the famous sports man serves. While a popular football player may entertain millions of people, a doctor may only treat thousands of people in his entire lifetime.

Ok, so now that we have got the big picture out of the way, how do you become more productive? Well, the first step is to get organized. You need to keep your computer organized so you will get to what you want faster. You should have separate folders for different parts of your business. For example, you might have a folder with all of your list building documents and learning materials, and another folder with all of your article marketing stuff.

The next step is to work with a powerful to-do list. You should always do this list before you got to bed at night so you'll wake up ready to go. Always work on the most important items first, the ones that will serve the most people and generate the highest profits. These may include activities like advertising, joint ventures, doing a teleseminar etc.

If you do these two simple things, you will be well on your way to being more organized and productive than 95% of people who are just getting by.
