1. Write about article topics that are highly relevant to the products you are selling. By doing this, you will only get the most targeted visitors right over to your website, and convert more of them into paying customers. Doing keyword research is a highly important part of this process.

2. Write articles that are loaded with 'What's In It For Me' content. Your users are always playing the radio station WIIFM (What's In It For Me) in their head, so make sure your content is always positioned such that they benefit. In other words, your articles should not talk too much about yourself or your products. Instead, they should contain information that helps the reader.

3. Increase the number of articles you write. Despite what many well-meaning people might say, the volume of your articles is important. Sure, it's all well and noble to say that quality is all that matters, but you need volume as well. Someone with 100 optimized articles will do better than someone with 10, all things being equal. The more articles that you have out there, the more chances for you to capture traffic to your website.
