Default Email Marketing that is Spam Free

Everybody hates getting spam emails. Especially those that are unsolicited, have inappropriate content and offensive ones. Almost everybody spends more than a few minutes a day deleting such emails.
However, there are perfectly appropriate, acceptable and efficient ways of marketing through sending emails. The secret to not being considered as a spammer is sending legitimate emails.

Writing an Effective Email
The most vital part of any marketing email is the message it contains. The message needs to be of value to the recipient. Writing an effective marketing email uses the same types of strategies that are used by any other marketing media.

Subject Line
Titles with odd spellings that use alternate characters like number 1 instead of the letter “I” is a definite give away that the email is spammy. Capitalized words and the use of exclamation points, multitude of dashes and the “=” sign mean spam. It would be best that the marketing email’s subject be appropriate and needs to be clear about who the email is from.

Clarify the “from:” Field
It is well-known that spam emails have “from:” fields which show addresses like “byhiknbdstihfderth@hotmail.com” or “webulk1690812@yahoo.com.” This is because bulk emailers automate which in turn generates “from:” addresses from thin air. Those obviously fake looking email addresses are a dead giveaway that the emails are spam.

The marketing email needs to have a very valid “from:” field with a real sender’s name or a valid email address which should be the email address of the company that sent the email. Should you be leasing or renting a list for which the provider of the list takes care of the email sending, you must ask about how the “from:” field will appear.

Personalize
Marketing emails need to be personalized. This helps in getting the email read by the recipient. When the subject line and the “from:” field are appropriate and clearly appears to be from a real person, the nest place that a recipient will look, in order to detect if the email is not spam, is the body of the mail. Use the person’s name in the salutation and make sure the mail is signed with your name, and phone number.
