Default Pros and cons of Blogging

Blogging has arrived on the scene big time and has turned everybody into a writer! Blogging ensures that a person has a creative outlet o his thoughts and which he can publish online absolutely free of cost. Sometimes one can even earn from these random jottings to some specific websites. However, let us categorically understand the probable pros and cons of this new wonder known as "blogging".

The big time pros:

  • Right of free expression: absolutely anyone, with no writing background can start a blog and see his name on the huge internet space. On can write a poem, a technical piece, a song, or just jot down random thoughts. No one is going to ask for explanation or question your thoughts. There is absolutely no limit to what you can express in words and graphics via blogging.
  • A part time income: some of the companies and websites actually pay for what you write on your blogs. Of course this is at a later stage, when one establishes oneself as a pro blogger, but there definitely is an option to earn well with your blogs, on one knows how and where to market the blogs.
  • Air thoughts: blogging can even be a good platform for airing thoughts and views on issues that are even for public interest. Thus a culmination of public and private issues.

The all time cons:

  • Too much and too many: There are too many blogs and bloggers today, and thus quality is lost in the race for quantity. One can hardly follow a blog unless it is too spectacular or popular. So a lot of effort goes into making a blog really successful.
  • No point really: as there are a lot of bloggers today, quality is not really there. This means that there is a good chance that your blog is going unnoticed majorly. So unless you are happy with being your own reader and audience, there is absolutely no point in blogging in oblivion.

Thus there indeed is a lot of positives and much less negatives in the whole concept of blogging. Its your call entirely.
