If you have ever thought of having your own successful Internet business, then you would probably already know by now the importance of building your own responsive list. Not having a list is just too risky nowadays. If you don't have a database of your customers, you will continually have to keep finding new customers. It's no secret that a big, responsive list is a ticket to job freedom.

There are many ways to make money and generate traffic online. But there's nothing as cost-effective and powerful as sending an email to your subscribers list. My biggest paydays have all come from mailings from my 'house list'. If you are not yet building a list, I suggest you start doing so at the earliest.

Another group of marketers know list building is important yet are constantly looking for quick fixes to building a big and responsive list. Unfortunately it doesn't exist. Building your list the manual way is the best way to go about it. You'll have to write articles, create pay per click campaigns, post classified ads, whatever it is it takes to build your list.

Then, once you have a sizeable list, you can 'leverage' it to grow it much faster. You can do cross-promotions with other entrepreneurs who are operating in your market. There are days where I literally have over a thousand new subscribers in one day because a joint venture partner mailed out for me. Once you have a list, you can pull off such stunning coups as well.
