There are advantages and disadvantages with both methods (promoting a single product versus multiple products), but eventually you will want to be promoting many products. Let me explain why later.

When you are starting out, you want to be focused on one product. Your goal is to start making a substantial profit with this one product. Market this product and refine your marketing strategies until you are pulling in some serious profits. Then start finding other products to promote.

The marketing strategies that work for one product will often work for another. So if you apply what you just learned with promoting a product profitably to other products, you are going to start making some real money online.

Now, why do you want to market multiple affiliate products? There are two main reasons - you get to spread your risk and you get to multiply your profits. If one affiliate product goes bust or becomes unpopular in the marketplace, you still have other products to make money for you. At the same time, you will make more money with more potential customers when you market different products.
