Make no mistake about it - if you want to make any serious money online, you need to sell a product or sell a service. Anyone who tells you that you can make money without selling one of those is either lying or deluded. But how do you make the really large amounts of money online? Can you do it by selling only one single product? It can be done, and making 'large' amounts of money is subjective, but if you want to make more money, selling multiple products is the answer.

Why do I say that? You see, if you want to create real long-term profits, you have got to increase the Lifetime Value of your customer. You have got to get him to become a repeat customer of your business. And the way to do that is by offering multiple products where he can pay you repeatedly.

There are two strategies when it comes to having multiple products. You can create products in different sub-markets in your niche and cross-promote them to increase your sales or, here is the better way: create advanced products to sell to customers of your low-ticket products. If someone buys an ebook from you, you offer them a home study course or a coaching class. This is called 'up-selling' and it's a surefire way to create lofty profits on the Internet!
