Article writing is easy when you put your mind to it and just take action, but people tend to over complicate things and over analyze the process. That's the reason why most people only have a few articles out there and never really go all-out with article promotion.

In my view, articles for the purpose of marketing should be no longer than 500 words. Ideally they should be 400 words or less. Why do I say that? You see, an article that has 600 words will usually get the same amount of traffic as one that has 300 words, sometimes even less. So there is really no point in writing longer articles when you can put your information across in lesser words and write more articles in the same amount of time. Unless you have some really important information to share and you need 600 words to do it, 400 words or less will suffice.

Now that is out of the way, what is my 5-step formula for churning out batches of articles anytime?

Step 1 - Do your keyword research. Create a list of highly searched keywords and put them into a text document for reference. This makes for easy topic creation later on.

Step 2 - Write your article title. This is the most important factor of your article. You need it to really grab attention so as to get the page views, which will lead to traffic to your site.

Step 3 - Start your content with an introduction. Start off by informing your readers about what comes next and what problems you will be addressing. This sets the stage for the reader.

Step 4 - In your content body, include 3-7 main points that help support it. Write a few sentences for each point to elaborate on it. By doing this, you should easily crank out a few hundred words.

Step 5 - Conclude your article with one paragraph, summarizing what you have just written. Also, emphasize that your readers take action on the content if you can. Help your readers get excited about your information and take action on it!
