If you use all the right email marketing techniques like crafting a killer subject line, positioning a relevant offer and including a call-to-action, you should have a pretty responsive list. But there are techniques you can use to make your subscribers even more responsive to your emails, and to get old subscribers to be hyper-responsive again.

With older subscribers, you will find they respond lesser and lesser to your emails. This is especially true for subscribers who are on your list for a year or more. The way to make them responsive again is to get them to opt-in to another list of yours. Get them excited again about you and your products!

You can create a name squeeze page and offer a really high value and attractive product for free, then add in your opt-in form there on the page. Then you can call this list your list of 'Loyal Subscribers' or 'Loyal Members', or something to that effect. The idea is to get your subscribers excited about your free product and then they will opt-in, and from there onwards, they will be much more responsive to your emails.

I know of two marketers who have used this technique with outstanding results. In fact, one marketer created a list of 5,000+ loyal subscribers by offering his main subscribers list a free product, and now this list is ultra responsive! So this is a technique you will want to consider to bring back life to your list and get it to buy from you again.
