There are a myriad of ways to make bank online and stuff your bank account with cash. But generally you are going to find there are two main ways to sell products online - you can become an affiliate and promote other people's products or you can sell your own products. Which is the more profitable option?

In affiliate marketing, all you have to do is create your personalized affiliate link and start promoting it to make sales. The product creation process is completely taken out of the equation. On the other hand, you only get to keep a proportion of the profits and you don't get to build your own subscribers list.

If you market your own products, whether it's paid products or free products, you can build your database of prospects and keep 100% of the profits. And with your list of prospects, you can continue marketing to them and profiting on the backend with affiliate products! So you can combine affiliate marketing with product creation, and I believe that is the most profitable way to run an Internet business.

In the beginning, I would advise selling more affiliate products and getting some experience with writing ads, promotional emails and driving traffic. Then once you know what works and what sells, you can just create your own products and pocket a bigger share of the profits.

But you would still want to promote affiliate products in one form or another, because it's so profitable. If your product line has already too many products, you can always promote an affiliate product to your list, for example, and make some easy cash!
