It's pretty well known by now that article marketing is one of the most productive ways to generate traffic on autopilot. There are, however, a few ways in which you can squeeze out more hungry traffic from your articles and really leverage them to the maximum so you get all the traffic you need.

One of the ways to maximize your articles is to include two links at the end of your article, in the resource box. One is an anchor text link; this link is for getting incoming links to your website. The other is a typical url link. By having two links, you increase the chances of getting a click through and hence increase your traffic.

Another way to squeeze more traffic, albeit indirectly, from your articles is to send all your article traffic to a name squeeze page where you generate subscribers. This way, you can send follow-up emails to your subscribers and get more repeat traffic to your websites. Repeat exposure = more sales! It often takes a few exposures to your offer before your prospect buys your product. So this is a very important concept to keep in mind.

The other way to increase your click throughs and to get more traffic is by writing a killer resource box. Make sure your resource box includes the main benefits of your website, a little intro about yourself and most importantly, a call to action. Tell them to click through, subscribe to your list or even buy your product. You have to tell your visitors to act now.
