Perhaps you have created a website before and it didn't gain traction and make you money. I think perhaps you know the reason. It's the lack of visitors, the lack of traffic. You know that to build a business online, you need to get that traffic flow in if you want success, and if you know a way to get targeted traffic fast, you would expand it and your business will just expand bigger.

Firstly, and perhaps you might already know this, most traffic generation methods are pretty ineffective. These include traffic exchanges, blog comments, forum advertising, guaranteed traffic packages etc. These tactics work to a certain degree, but certainly not enough to justify spending money or time on them. It's far more worth it to just laser target those sources that work!

So here is how to get unique visitors fast without blowing a hole in your account:

1. Write 10 high quality articles and submit them to the foremost article directories on the web, including Ezine Articles. Start off with 10 articles. Once you are getting traffic and you are seeing results, start writing and submitting more regularly to the same article directories.

2. Create a list of keywords in your market through keyword research using software like Wordtracker or Good Keywords. Then create a blog and create posts optimized for gaining high search engine rankings for these keywords. How do you optimize them? This topic is beyond the scope of this article but you have got to have your main keyword in the post, the post tags, and also get backlinks if possible through methods like social bookmarking.
