Well, I am here to tell you there is no best way. There are probably hundreds of ways to make money online. Each of those systems have dozens or even hundreds of different variations as well. So you're never going to find the 'best system' or 'best way of making money online'.
So what you need to do is pick one system and follow it. Which system makes the most sense to you and has the best potential to build you a solid lasting business? Go with that system, and you can't fail.

Step 1 - Find Your Niche. Go with a niche you are an expert in and has demand. For example, if you know how to train dogs, consider the dog training niche, which is a very profitable market.
Step 2 - Create A Squeeze Page. A squeeze page is a short web page with an opt-in form. It is designed to get subscribers. You would require an autoresponder such as Aweber to start capturing subscribers.
Step 3 - Build A List. Send traffic to the squeeze page you have and start growing that list.
Step 4 - Monetize The List. Make money by sending promotions from time to time to your list or send them cost-per-action offers.
