From my personal testing, the evidence suggests that classified advertising is an effective traffic and lead generator. What more, it's traffic that is free and only requires your time! I have personally gotten 20-30 leads per day from intensive classified advertising alone. It works the same as articles. The more high converting ads you have out there, the more traffic you will get. The only difference is (and this is why articles win the day), there is little residual value with classifieds. Once you post an ad, it will get lost in the whole mass of ads and people will only see the newer ads.

So you want my quick and easy formula to get traffic and qualified leads from classified advertising. Here is the formula in all its glory:

Step 1 - Make A List Of Sites To Submit To

There are a few classified sites on the Internet that generate crazy results if you know how to use them. These include Craigslist, Yahoo Classifieds, MySpace Classifieds, Backpage and Yellow Pages. Use a combination of these or even all of them for maximum results. Think abundantly and get your ads out there on as many places as possible and you will get some serious traffic coming in.

Step 2 - Write Your Ads

Write a few ads that you will submit to these sites. The reason why you want numerous ads is because most of theses sites won't accept the same ads twice. So keep on creating different variations of your ad or write totally new ad copy so you can get more exposure for your website. Remember, to think in terms of benefits instead of features.

Step 3 - Submit Your Ads

Submit your ads to one, a few, or even all the classified sites I mentioned above. This should keep you busy for quite a while and it will generate substantial traffic for your Internet business.
