One thing that almost no one knows about article marketing is that you can build a list using article traffic. If they are even interested enough or trusting enough to submit their email, will they even buy from me? The answer is very likely to be no. That's why I put this qualifier up - the squeeze page. It builds lists faster than any other page and it qualifies your traffic.

Now, the way I leverage articles is by submitting to only the best directories on the planet. Meaning, I only submit to the directories that get the most traffic. The rest are not only really worth your time in terms of getting direct traffic. For 95% of article traffic, you will get it from the most popular directories.
