You have probably heard of dozens of ways to drive traffic online. But which traffic strategy will work the best for you? Which traffic strategy should you place your money and your effort on?

The first step to determine this is through testing and tracking. You need to track where your traffic is coming from and you need to test different traffic sources until you find the ones that generate the best results for you. You can use split-testing tools like Google Analytics or Power Split Tester.

Which traffic generation strategy works best for me? I can tell you that it's article marketing. I submit hundreds of articles every month because they work for me. I can't tell if they will work for you, but I'm pretty sure they will because the traffic is pretty much certain and it is predictable if you have a set amount of articles.

When I first began doing business online, I tested about a dozen traffic sources. After just a week or so, it became clear that article marketing was the clear winner. From my stats in Stat Counter, it became apparent that articles were driving the majority of the traffic for me and fueling my lead generation machine. So I began writing more articles to improve my daily results. I began to work with some ballpark numbers. If I had x amount of traffic from y amount of articles, all I had to do was do 2y amount of articles to get 2x amount of traffic. And that's how it turned out for me eventually.
