My number one method to drive targeted traffic to my website is through article marketing. What is this strategy all about? It's about writing articles that are relevant to your business to get traffic, build credibility and brand your business. First and foremost, you do it to generate traffic so you can make money from there.

How do you article marketing with much success? Here is my personal step-by-step system to get you on your way:

Step 1 - Create a list of topics that are related to your business or your website offer. Make a list of 5 to 10 main topics that you can write about in your business. From those topics, you can probably make sub-lists of dozens of sub-topics that you can write about consistently. The key is to create a huge list of any potential topic that is related to your business so you will always have something to write about.

Step 2 - Start writing articles that consist of about 250-400 words. Write about steps, tips, strategies and techniques. One easy way to do it is to write in terms of lists, for example Step 1, Step 2 and so on. Then write one paragraph for each step like what I'm doing here in this article.

Step 3 - At the bottom of every article you submit, you can include a resource box that promotes your website. It is very important that you put out the major benefit of your website here and include a call to action to tell readers to click through on the link.
