It's a fact from my own testing and my own firsthand experience that article marketing generates the most targeted leads on the Internet. However, most people are simply not aware of this. Sure, they know article marketing is a great traffic source, but they've never thought about it in terms of building a list.

Me and a few other marketers are one of the only few guys using article marketing as a core list building strategy. Why do we do it? Because it works extremely well. It works like crazy. Now, why do articles produce such a targeted lead?

When someone has read your content and he likes it and he is beginning to trust you and your information, that's when they are primed to visit your website and opt-in to your list. If someone just comes in from a pay per click ad or a classified ad, they are not as targeted as they can be because all the know of you initially is your ad copy and your squeeze page copy. It's all designed to sell straight off from the bat. With articles, you are giving solid information away and this builds trust right from the start.

So this is how you get a very targeted lead. Simply by sharing quality information, and people will reciprocate by opting in to your list to receive more information, and buy your products because they know you and they like you.

You'll want to set up an opt-in page, give something free away and then use article marketing as the driver for getting leads. This system works, and I'm living proof of it everyday!
