Here is a 'secret' to increasing your traffic flow on a monthly and even daily basis: list building. This is an easy way to increase your overall traffic numbers to your sit every month. On top of the 'regular' traffic you are getting, you get the traffic that comes from mailings to your list.

Of my visitors that come to my web pages every month, about 70% are fresh, new, unique visitors. The other 30% comes from list traffic. If I hadn't built a list that 30% wouldn't exist. I would be 30% worse off in terms of overall traffic, which results in less sales.

Here is how you can build a list and leverage it for more and more traffic:

Step 1 - Submit Articles

Article marketing is one of the most qualified ways to build a responsive list with. Use articles to build a list where you can funnel traffic from later on. There are many places where you can submit your articles for maximum traffic: article directories, your own blog, your website, ezines, and forums. Start doing article submission to reap the most qualified traffic on the Internet.

Step 2 - Send Traffic To A Squeeze Page

Send your article traffic to a squeeze page to build that list. A squeeze page is the most effective web page to use to build a list. It is a short direct response driven page where the visitor has only two options: opt-in to your list or leave. This will allow you to build the biggest list possible from the traffic you get.

Step 3 - Send Out Emails To Your List

Send out regular emails to your list promoting relevant products (ie your own products or affiliate products). Also send them free gifts from time to time or your subscribers will just grow disillusioned that you keep selling them. You've got to build a relationship with your subscribers so they trust you and feel like they know you personally.
