One of the easiest ways to get a flood of instant traffic to grow your list is through list swaps. What are list swaps and how do you set them up? Let's look at the steps to getting started using this rapid list building technique:

Step 1 - Make A List Of Potential Joint Venture Partners

Make a list of potential list swap partners you will be able to work with. You can find them from Google, Clickbank, forums or simply contacting the owners of newsletters you have subscribed to.

Step 2 - Set Up Your Squeeze Page

You need a squeeze page to get maximum mileage out of a list swap. If you are building a list, you should have one by now. If not, you can always create a simple direct response page (attention-grabbing headline, bullet points and a call-to-action) with your opt-in form to entice visitors to opt-in to your list.

Step 3 - Contact JV Partners

Contact the JV partners that you have on your list. You'll want to customize each email to suit each JV partner to get maximum results. Mention something about their products or websites and you'll get a greater chance of a response. Be sure to state your list size and how 'list swaps' work.

Step 4 - Grow Your List!

Set up a calendar to have your swaps scheduled on certain days every month. Together your normal content emails and promotional emails, they can become a crucial part of your email marketing calendar to grow your business to greater levels.
