Find local business networking groups, and merchant associations. Attend industry conferences and make an effort to meet people and follow up with them when you get home from the meeting.

3. Product giveaways on your website
Provide products for free that prospective clients can download in exchange for their name and contact information. Offer something useful that will help to educate the prospect about what you can do to help their business become more successful.
  • Hold a workshop demonstrating a specific marketing strategy
  • Record either the video or the audio
  • Offer the recording as an incentive for signing up to your email list
  • Create a sample special report that can be customized for a specific type of business
  • Create a video where you describe your services, the kinds of results that you have created for other local, small businesses and how easy it is to get started working with you.
A bonus client attraction tip is to work your social media profiles to attract your ideal clients. Make sure you have a consistent branding message across all of your profiles that reinforces the brand message of your website. You might use your Facebook fan page to highlight a ‘Client of the week,’ and showcase the projects you did for a specific business and what kinds of results you were able to generate.
