Imagine your well-oiled product machine generating sales for you day and night. Hold that thought in your mind. It is possible. But the first step you need to take is to actually have your own products to sell.

Why do you need your own products to survive? Look around at all the successful marketers who have been around for a long time. They all have their own products. Is there a single marketer you can think of who is successful and doesn't have their own products? I can't think of any.

When you have your own products, you develop credibility in your market and establish yourself as an expert on the topic. That's why I urge anyone, whether you want to sell affiliate products, or generate AdSense earnings, that you always to think of creating your own products somewhere down the line.

Another big advantage of having your own products is that obviously keep all the profits. You don't have to share your income 50% with the merchant or give away 25% of your profits. You keep everything. It's your product, you keep all the money.

With your own product, you can also get affiliates on board to actually promote your product. This is where you have leverage. This is where you can get massive traffic numbers because others are actually doing the work for you to generate traffic for your product and actually generating sales for you.

So create your own information products as soon as you can. You need them to survive for the long-term.
