Are you looking for ways to drive more traffic to your site? Here are some tips you can consider and research deeper into:

1) Directory submission. Submit a paid ad to Dmoz or Yahoo Directories. Those sites get a ton of traffic which you can tap on.

2) Create pay per click ads. Get traffic from the Google search engine or the Placement Targeting network where you advertise your sites on other sites in the Google AdSense network.

3) Article marketing. Write short articles promoting your site and submit them to highly visited article directories. The most popular and effective one is Ezine Articles.

4) Forum posting. Find 3 to 5 well populated forums and just create a schedule to post in them everyday. Set aside an hour or a half an hour to post valuable content in these forums, so you get noticed.

5) Find ezines or newsletters to advertise in. A great resource to find these ezines that will accept ads is DirectoryOfEzines.com Test and track your ads always using a tracker like AdTrackz. Advertise again in those ezines that generate results for you.

6) If you really want to scale up your traffic, consider buying banner ads on other websites from a broker like Double Click or Adbrite. This will be costly, but they will generate masses of traffic.

7) Find blogs to place sponsored ads in. Contact high-trafficked blogs (you can check their Alexa ranking to check this), and ask them what would it take for them to place your ad on their blog.

8) Visit high-trafficked blogs and post comments on their blog posts. This a free way to funnel some of their traffic directly back to your site.
