Yahoo Answers is a great place to target college students and teenagers. The majority of people posting there are in that age group.

Here is how you can subtly market on Yahoo Answers without being pulled up:

Step 1 - Find Questions To Answer

Use the Advanced Search function to search for Open Questions. These are questions that are still open to the public for answering. What you want to do is search for your topic, look for questions and reply to them. Add the Search Results RSS Feed to your Yahoo account so you get a daily update of new questions you can answer!

Step 2 - Answer Questions

Click on the threads that are Open Questions and contribute your answer. You goal is to get the Best Answer. This will invariably get you more traffic than the others. So write a quality answer. One shortcut is to use related articles you have written before as your answers.

Step 3 - Insert Your URL

Insert the URL source of your answer (your website link) into your answer. This is where you will get traffic.

This method is a great way to get free traffic. But it only works for certain niches (those which cater to the younger category). I've found that Yahoo Answers traffic work best for getting AdSense clicks, because college students and teenagers don't have much disposable income.
