The simple trick to 'recycle' your traffic from article marketing is to build a list. Send your article traffic to a squeeze page, get them on to your mailing list and you can follow up with them there with scheduled emails that go out over the course of a year or over a month.

Once you get visitors on to your list, you have the ability to instantly promote various offers to them (your own or affiliate offers). If you send visitors to a generic blog or sales page without building a list, you only have one shot at it.

With a list, you have 5 shots, 10 shots or even 52 shots at a sale if you send out a mailing every week.

One way to build a list is to send your traffic directly straight to a blog or sales page, but plug in an opt-in form somewhere on the page to build a mailing list as well. This way, you can go for the direct sale as well as build a list. Having multiple opportunities to get the sale is power.

That's why building a list is really important for any kind of marketing. With article marketing, you can turn the traffic you get into tons of repeat traffic and exposures that increase your profits.
