3. Only Target Sites That Are Highly Related To Your Offer

How do you find these sites? Do a search for your main keywords on Google and look through the websites on the first page of the results. Do any of the sites have Google AdSense? Are the ads placed in a prime spot (above the fold so visitors do not have to scroll down to see them?)? Then you've found a site that can be targeted with Placement Targeting.

4. Start Off Strong To Gain A Foothold

It's important to start off strongly by bidding high first to gain a strong position. When you bid high at the start, it increases your ad position, and hence you will get better clickthrough rates. This will be important for your long-term campaign performance.

5. Maintain Or Boost Your Position With A Better Click Through Rate

After two weeks, lower your bids. You should still maintain a high position because of your high click through rates. Aim to maintain your position and click through rates by split-testing your current ads with new ones to improve your campaign performance.
