Pay-per-click advertising are almost an instant way to get promotion for your opt-in page. You'd want to bid on long-tail keywords that get traffic but do not have too many competing ads. Find as many of these keywords as you can using Wordtracker and Google's own Keyword Suggestion tool in Adwords, and you'll hit pay dirt.

Foolproof Technique #2: Article Marketing

I have personally used article marketing to build a list of thousands of subscribers. And the traffic just keeps it rolling in everyday on autopilot. Write and submit articles. It works! I know because I use it day in and day out and it's one of my primary promotional techniques.

Foolproof Technique #3: Joint Venture Giveaways

Giveaways are one of the fastest ways I know of to use leverage to build a list. Basically you join a group of marketers in promoting the giveaway and in the process help each other build your lists through having your gifts in the event. Do a search for 'JV giveaways' or 'joint venture giveaways' on Google to find some giveaways to participate in. If you want to get in the loop on the latest giveaways that are about to hit the market, look for some giveaway Facebook groups and start joining them!
