Many article marketers report of not getting enough ROI from their articles. Yet there are also article marketers who make a killing! Why is that so? It is because of the system that is used.

I personally designed a system to maximize my profits from articles. While I lose out to a few other article marketers on the front-end, I trounce them on the back-end. Here's how it works:

1. Write articles

2. Build a squeeze page (or opt-in page) offering a free incentive to opt-in

3. Submit articles

That's how simple it is. Instead of sending your traffic to a blog or a sales page, send them to a squeeze page and build your list. You will lose out on the front end, but you'll have a list of contacts you can contact time and again. That is invaluable.

So how do you create your free incentive? There are a few different kinds of incentives you can give away, including free reports, free videos, and an ecourse. Personally, I find the free report works best because it gives a higher perceived value. You can easily create a short 10-15 page report by compiling a few related articles on your topic or hire a freelancer from Get A Freelancer.

Your squeeze page should short, simple and to the point. Have a headline, a few bullet points and the opt-in form that you generate from your autoresponder system. The one I use is Aweber. It is unmatched in the industry and most of the marketers use Aweber. It is still the number one autoresponder despite numerous competitors.
