There's a chance when the visitors or potential buyers liked your tutorial, they may click your banner or link in the tutorial. In other words, you may have gained a sale or a lead.

This practice also applies to other common niches like health, dating, internet marketing and a lot more. Don't try to create tutorials that you don't know about (unless you can rewrite them well and make it look almost "personal"). At least you already know that everyone can make money with simple tutorials on their website or blog...or even Web 2.0 sites.
