Article marketing is one of the oldest effective ways to make money online. Basically, you will make money with affiliate or CPA marketing through writing articles and publish them on your website or blog. You can even publish them on the top tier article directories like Ezine Articles, Go Articles, ArticlesBase, Buzzle, The Free Library and a lot more. But there is one thing that you should not miss when writing an article, and that is Call-To-Action.

Why Call-To-Action is very important?

Your primary goal is to let a visitor or potential buyer to be convinced in buying your promoted product after reading the article. In order for you to do that, you need a call-to-action message. No matter how many words you have the article, just put the call-to-action message below your article (not before the article). In article directories like Ezine, call-to-action messages must be placed inside the resource box (not within the content).

A good example would be:

"To know more about the XXX product, please visit this website"

Make sure that you include the URL of your website (whether if it's a hyperlink or not) so that people may have the chance to click it. But it really depends on the product you are promoting if it has lots of sales or not (or even trust from the other customers). At least you already know that articles would become meaningless without the call-to-action feature.
