But what are these common SEO mistakes for today?

1. Your images and videos are not labeled with the main keyword of the article.

Webmasters or bloggers are posting images and videos without putting the exact and main keyword inside of it. If you have the knowledge of HTML basics, all you need to do is add title="xxx" (where xxx is your main keyword) in the embed area.

2. You don't use meta title tag and description in your website or blog.

Some webmasters and bloggers don't mind about the meta title tag and description, but they might lose rankings for good. In order for you to add the keyword in the meta title tag, you should find these tags "<title></title>" within your website through the HTML mode.

3. Your keyword density is more than 3% and no LSI's included.

If your article is stuffed with lots of keywords, Google may detect it as unfriendly and may get your site de-indexed or to be included in the Sandbox. LSI's (related or suggested keywords) are also important, which also helps you rank well and gain traffic from your targeted visitors. Just maintain the keyword density to less than 3%

4. You do not use the main keyword in the first and last 100 characters of your article.

This is another important thing that you should correct yourself. Most of the bloggers and webmasters are not including the main keyword in the first and last 100 characters of your article. If you include them, your keyword may appear when someone searches the exact keyword in Google. From there, your description may appear below the title of your article in Google search results.
