With Paypal nowadays, you have the option to create a recurring payment plan where you can create a membership site. And best of all, the whole thing can be run on autopilot!

You can create a 'traditional' membership site using Amember or simply create a paid email course where you line up your follow-up emails in your autoresponder and set it to roll on autopilot. Both business models can be highly profitable although the second model is a lot more hands-off.

Setting the whole system up is as easy as plugging in your Paypal payment button that you set up in your Paypal account. You can set any payment amount you want ($5, $10, $20 etc) and your Paypal account will automatically receive the payments every month until the customer cancels!

If you provide solid new information every month, your subscribers will continue wanting to stay on in your membership. And as you get more sign-ups, it's a compounding factor that will simply explode your income.

If you are just starting out and want to create a simple membership site, I'd highly advice going for the autoresponder option. How this works is simple: after the customer finishes his payment, he is sent to page with an opt-in form to opt-in to your ongoing course. Every week or every month, he will receive email messages that you have set in your autoresponder account. So essentially the whole business is running on autopilot.
