A sure-fire way to increase your affiliate profits is to have a mailing list. Having a mailing list is almost like having the ability to print money - if you use the right strategies.

Here is how to start boosting your affiliate profits with your own mailing list starting today:

Step 1 - Create An Opt-In Page

An opt-in page is designed to capture leads for your business. Your goal with your opt-in page is to keep it simple - have a bold headline, a few bullet points with the benefits of your free offer, and the opt-in form generated from your autoresponder service (I recommend Aweber by the way). Oh, and for the free offer, you'd want to look at offering a valuable free report, free software or free videos/audio recordings.

Step 2 - Redirect To Your Affiliate Link

Once the visitor has opted in, you want him to be redirected to your affiliate link. This can usually be done in your autoresponder account. This works well for generating sales for you, as it's a two-step marketing process where the visitor gets a free product first, then gets to view the paid product.

Step 3 - Set Follow-Up Emails

Set follow-up emails a few days apart from each other to promote your affiliate product. You can grab sample promotional emails from the product's affiliate tools page or create some pre-selling emails. The big money is in the follow-up and you can typically double or triple your profits through these automated follow-up emails.

Step 4- Send Traffic To Opt-In Page
